Don't Mind If I Do

"What you doing here? Wait." SB looked around. "How you get in here?"

"You gave me a key, silly." Nicki said as she stood on her tip toes waiting for a kiss. He bent down and pecked her lips before he continued what he was doing.

"How did everything go today?" Nicki placed her keys in her purse and looked around the store.

"Good." SB moved a box to the back of the room. "Wayne came in here today."

"Did he?" Nicki said with a slight smile while leaning against the counter. She folded her arms across her chest and watched Safaree as he continued to move the boxes to the back of the store.

"Yeah. Shut this whole place down."

"Is that why you've been here all day, abandoning me?" Nicki said.

"I thought you had plans with Candi and them?" SB said as he stood up and looked over at her while adjusting his fitted cap.

"I did."

"They didn't come through?"

"They did. I can't spend time with my husband?"

"You can spend all the time you want with me, baby."

"Mhmmmm."

Safaree pulled his keys out of his pocket and looked over towards Nicki. "Office." He said while flipping through the keys. Nicki leaned off the counter and began walking towards the back of the store, past Safaree until he fell in place behind her. When they got to his office door she moved to the side letting him open up the door. He let her walk in his office first before he turned off the light in the main room and walked in his office. Nicki stepped in his office and put her purse down on his desk.

"Did Tyga come by?"

"Yeah." SB sat in the swivel chair behind his desk and opened a drawer. He pulled out a notebook and laid it on his desk. "He call you or something?"

"He said he needed to talk to you about the shirts and jewelry he needs for a video but you weren't home." Nicki walked around his desk and grabbed a chair that was close to him but more up against the wall. She grabbed the chair and slid it closer to Safaree before she took a seat.

"Yeah, he came by here. He ain't say what video it was for." Safaree opened the notebook. "That stuff for the song with you?" he looked over at Nicki and she nodded her head before he looked back down at the notebook.

"You finally bout to be wearin my stuff in one of your videos?"

"No." He glanced at her and Nicki laughed at the look on his face. "He and his boys are wearing that. I have to look sexy." Nicki said the last part seductively.

"Aye, chill with that." He said as he looked between his computer and the notebook. "That body is mine."

Nicki rolled her eyes playfully. "Everybody knows."

"Just making sure." he dropped the notebook on the desk and clicked something on the computer.

"What are you doing, babe?"

"Making sure these numbers and sales add up. Soon as I'm done we can go."

"You don't have to rush."

"The front cash register was short the other day. That can't happen again."

"By how much?"

"Around 175."

"I told you to put cameras in here, babe."

"I'm working on it." he clicked something on his computer before he clicked the red X. Nicki smiled at his desktop background being one of their wedding pictures. She sighed and wrapped her arm around his arm and leaned her head on his shoulder.

"I love that picture." She said as she stared at the black and white photo of Safaree carrying Nicki down the aisle while Nicki's face is pressed into his neck with her smile still being very much visible.

"Me too. I look luuuuuuuug." he tapped her thigh and she moved her leg out of the way so he could put the notebook back in the drawer. "You ready?" He looked down at Nicki. She nodded her head and leaned out of his body. She stood up and SB stood up as well. He grabbed hold of the chair she moved and placed it back against the wall. Nicki grabbed her purse off the desk and pulled up the back of her jeans.

"It doesn't fit in there." SB said referring to her ass as he made it passed Nicki and to his office door. Nicki laughed as she dropped her hands to her side.

"Shut up."

 She laughed as she walked toward the door. He opened the door letting her walk out first and hit the light to his office. She grabbed at his hand knowing as soon as he shut the door it would be dark. He grabbed the door closed and locked it with his free hand before placing the keys in his pocket. He turned slightly releasing Nicki's right hand that had hold of his left. He placed his hands on her waist and walked, pushed up on her body leading her through the darkness, now knowing this place by heart. She grabbed at one his left hand that was on her waist, removing it to hold it as he continued to push her to the back of the store. He reached his free arm out around her when they approached the door and he pushed it open for her.

"You hungry?"

"Yeah." Nicki said as she switched from holding his hand with her left to now with her right hand. She looked around outside and smiled when she seen a woman and her husband taking a walk. He had his arm around her shoulder and she had on his huge over sized jacket. Her smile grew when she saw him pull his woman closer. She unknowingly firmed her grip on SB's hand causing him to look over at her.

"What's wrong?"

She looked at him with a smile causing him to look confused. She slightly giggled before dropping her goofy smile and leaned into him.

"Don't you just love, love?"

He sucked his teeth as he looked down at her and shook his head. She laughed at the look on his face and wrapped an arm around his body.

"I knew it was some corny shit when I seen that kool-aid smile on your face."

"So our love is corny shit?" Nicki said with a playful fake attitude.

"Get in the car Nicki." He said as he placed his hands on her waist and spun her around.

"You wasn't even hungry."

"Well I'm sorry I don't eat like I'm a starving animal." Nicki said referring to SB's clean plate.

"It's been a long day."

"Oh? Want it to be a long night?" She said seductively. She looked at him through squinted eyes and her foot made it way up his legs. He chuckled causing her to laugh and she dropped her foot back down to the ground. She leaned back in her chair and placed a hand on her necklace while she stared at him. His eyes darted down to her hands on her infinity necklace.

 "I think I want another tattoo."

"Safaree, you gon be covered in ink." She said dropped her hand from her necklace. "What are you getting done now?"

"It's a surprise."

"Oooooh. So it's for me? Is it my face?"

"Yeah." SB said playing into this. "You know that photo shoot of yours that's my favorite?"

"You have too many favorites."

"Nah. My favorite one. The one in the bathroom."

"You're such a freak."

SB smirked while looking at her.

"Nah. I don't like you that much. I would never."

"Boy please. You're obsessed with me." Nicki said with a cocky smirk on her face.

"Your biggest fan, baby." SB said before he licked his lips. "You know what next week is?"

"Do YOU know what next week is, playboy?"

"I actually think you planned it this way on purpose."

"Planned what?"

"Our wedding so close to our anniversary. You just like me showering you with gifts."

"Shut up. What are you gonna buy me?"

"The world."

"You're so corny." Nicki smiled while shaking her head. "Come here."

"Why?"

"Just do it."

"Why can't you come to me?"

"Faree." Nicki said sternly. He chuckled before he slid out of his side of the booth. Nicki slid to the side moving in more leaving more space for SB. He took a seat next to her and leaned back against the booth.

"It's been a long fourteen years." SB said.

 "And 6 months." Nicki said with a voice of correction.

"Yeah that too."

"Best fourteen years and 6 months of your life." Nicki said with a cocky tone and smirk.

"You know it, baby." SB said before he licked his lips. "Best years of your life, too."

Nicki shrugged while she remained with a cocky smirk on her face.

"You could say something like that." she said before she shrugged again. Nicki wrapped an arm around his neck. She ran her thumb over his bottom lip before she leaned her head on his shoulder.

"Babe." Nicki pouted. "When we get home will you carry me to bed?"

"Do I have a choice?"

"No."

"I guess I will then."

"Will you carry me up the steps?"

"We gotta switch rooms sometime." SB said as he placed his left hand on her thigh. "Gotta move downstairs."

"Noooo." Nicki whined. She sat up and removed her hand from the back of his neck. "Let's stay upstairs."

"Why?"

"I like it up there. You don't?"

SB shrugged and Nicki turned more facing Safaree.

"We can't stay up there."

"Why not?"

"When you have my lil juniors they not falling down them steps."

Nicki rolled her eyes and stared at him.

"We'll cross that bridge when we get there." Nicki said with a lazy smile.

"Are we there yet?" SB said like an anxious little kid before he laughed. He stared at Nicki's face and leaned forward. "No pressure, baby." He said before he puckered his lips. Nicki stared up at him hoovering over her before she grabbed his chin and pecked his lips. She released his chin and he leaned back against the booth. "Aye." SB quickly but lightly lifted her chin up causing her to look at him. "Love you. You ready?"

SB looked over to his left and out the window. He shook his head and Nicki looked over to see what he was looking at.

"It never seems to amaze me how they always find me." Nicki said as she turned and grabbed her phone off the table. SB slid out of the booth and pulled money out of his pocket. He dropped a 20 as a tip and placed the money back in his pocket. He let Nicki walk ahead of him and followed behind her. Nicki put on her sunglasses and held her hand out behind her. SB grabbed her hand and they made their way out of the diner.
